This economy disk cutter set is used to produced round disks of metal from soft precious metals such as gold or silver up to 20 gauge thick.
Other jewelry metals such as copper, brass, and nickel silver can also be cut using care and common sense. Use with a mallet or in a hydraulic press.
The economy sets are well made using hardened tool steel having sharp edges and close tolerances and come with wood storage boxes. This set can be disassembled to help remove punches that become stuck in the cut metal.
