Choosing an Injection Wax
Formulas differ in flow, flexibility and how a cooled pattern handles when removed from a mould. Match the wax to the mould and design, particularly where thin sections need to flex during removal. Colour identifies a formula within a range; it is not a universal grading system.
Injection or Hand Carving?
Injection wax is used with appropriate wax-injection equipment and moulds. For a first hand-carved model, start with carving wax or ring tubes. Follow the individual formula’s processing guidance rather than using one temperature for every wax.
