Cratex Abrasives

Each Cratex size and shape is made in four standard grit textures or compositions which differ in accordance with the mesh size of the abrasive grain used.

Cratex wheels have a firmer feel than the softer, more flexible silicone rubber abrasives, which are useful for following contours during detailed finishing. Choose the range and grade to suit the surface and finish required. The colour codes differ between the two ranges; use the Cratex grade and colour guide above when selecting Cratex abrasives.
