Our service is jewellery focused, whether it's earrings, rings, bangles, or pendants - unlock the potential of your designs by casting with 3D files printed directly in wax with our 3D printing service. The printers produce consistent, accurate, and highly detailed wax models of your designs, which are ideal for lost wax casting.
Printing in wax provides more detail in your designs than ever before; we get smooth surfaces with our high-resolution printers, and any printing artifacts are greatly reduced. This means minimal cleanup and faster turnaround on your end. We can also use our wax prints directly in our moulding service as master patterns with shrinkage accounted for.
Not every 3D file can be cast; there are limitations in the casting process for what is possible. Our print technicians check each file for any problems that would cause these issues, and we will let you know what changes need to happen to ensure a perfect cast.
3D File types
- Primary: STL format.
- Secondary: 3DM format.
- Alternative: Ask us, and we may be able to accommodate your file type.
Typical turnaround is 5-7 working days to go from printing your files through to receiving the cast piece; our minimum timeframe for urgent jobs is 3-4 working days with no guarantees.
