Designed to be exceptionally light and rigid, this saw frame provides precise control, reduced blade breakage, and virtually no flex. Best of all, the hardened aluminium frame weighs only 118 grams, more than 50 grams lighter than a comparable steel saw frame. It holds standard 5-1/8" jewellers’ saw blades. Its unique tensioning system makes mounting the saw blade simple and easy--without your having to wedge the handle against your chest to accomplish it.
please note: This saw frame is precisely designed to hold saw blades that are 5-1/8" (130mm) long, the standard length of a jeweler's saw blade. Always check the length of any new saw blade before installing it; longer blades must be trimmed to this length, shorter blades will not work in this frame.
