Foredom's All new 1/6 HP hang-up style SR motor is ball bearing and operates at speeds up to 18,000 rpm. With the addition of reversing capability, you have greater control of the tool, whether you are right or left handed. Here it is teamed up with a foot operated speed control in a heavy plastic housing.
Foredom's All New Series SR motor has been totally re-designed. It's 1/6 hp, ball bearing motor features 66% more power than Series CC and 33% more power than Series S machines. (Foredom's 1/3 HP Series TX and TXH machines are the most powerful motors in the line.)
The All New SR operates in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000 rpm and comes supplied with Foredom's standard shaft and sheath. The FCT foot control included in this motor-control combination is a solid state control in a heavy duty plastic housing with an extra wide footprint. The handpiece is not included - please review our extensive line for the handpiece that suits your application.
The Foredom flex shaft system is designed to allow interchangeability of most handpieces.
The SR-FCT motor control combination carries a 2 year warranty.

Components:
1. M.SR-2 Motor: 230 Volt version of Foredom’s most popular and best motor for general use. The 1/6 hp, ball bearing, hang-up style M.SR runs in forward and reverse at speeds up to 18,000 RPM. It comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging, and our standard 39″ long key-tip inner shaft and outer sheath for connecting to any of Foredom’s key tip compatible handpieces.
2. C.FCH-2 or C.FCH-2CE Speed Control: Foredom’s popular foot operated variable speed control. It has durable electronics and comes in a heavy duty plastic housing with an extra wide design.
3. H.30 Handpiece: Foredom’s most popular general purpose handpiece. It features a 3-jaw, geared chuck with a 0-5/32″ capacity. Accessory changes are easy with this handpiece using the supplied HPCK-0 Chuck Key. The H.30 is a key tip compatible handpiece.
4. AK11 Accessory Kit (see contents under ‘Downloads’ tab): 42-pc. assortment of metal working accessories including various shapes, sizes and grits of Satin Finishers, Bristle and Brass Cup, Wheel & End Brushes, Scotch-Brite™ Radial Bristle Discs, High Speed Steel Fluted Engraving Burs, Rubber Bonded Abrasive Wheel and Disc, Aluminum Oxide Sanding Bands, Screw and Rubber Drum Mandrels, V Stone and Unitized Points, and Platinum White Polishing Compound.

These permanent magnet motors are specifically designed for high torque/low speed applications, offering more power for jobs like stone setting, wax modeling, and pearl drilling.
Ball bearing motors feature full power and torque from start up and throughout the entire speed range up to 5,000 rpm.
They are ideal for use with Foredoms drill presses.
They also are well matched with the H.15 and H.15D Hammer Handpieces.
It comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging, and our standard 39" long key tip inner shaft and special/more flexible neoprene outer protective sheath for connecting to any of Foredoms quick disconnect handpieces.
Foredoms permanent magnet motors require the use of a TXR-2, SXR-2, or EMX-2 speed control. Damage will result if the motor is connected to any other speed control.
