Wheel brushes suit accessible surfaces and edges; end brushes concentrate the brushing action into smaller areas and recesses. Choose the diameter and wire style for the access and finish you need.

Testing the brushing action

Steel wire can mark soft metals and delicate surfaces, so test the brush on an offcut or an inconspicuous area before working on the finished piece. Use light pressure, check the shank fits your handpiece and follow the manufacturer's speed limits. Replace brushes with damaged or loose wire.
